Napa Valley Trail Rides
We are going to go horseback riding.
He’s gonna be my buddy today. This is Slate. I’d like you to meet Slate, ladies and gentlemen, we’re going horseback riding Napa Valley Trail Rides. You can do wine tasting and horseback riding at the same time here in the Napa Valley.
Totally beautiful location. There’s views of Mount George and their wine is excellent. Definitely a very fun and cool and different thing to do here in the Napa Valley. On Silverado trail, near the city of Napa, you can get fresh strawberries and these strawberries are amazing. Enjoy Napa Valley. We’re on another adventure here in the Napa Valley.
The French Laundry
has been voted the best restaurant in the world on multiple occasions. I remember the first time I visited the gardens, it was actually around the corner from here and it was in a backyard. Now they put it right across the street from the French Laundry. We can enjoy it, the general public, and don’t have to have a private tour.
It’s beautiful. There’s a reason why they’re one of the best in the world. They use the freshest of ingredients.
Van de Leur park
is almost directly across the street from the French Laundry Gardens. Some really cool art here, dedications to firefighters, the Native Americans. It’s a hidden gem. You don’t want anybody to know about.
Yountville Crossroads
Napa River Ecological Reserve. What us locals call it is Yountville crossroads because it’s on Yountville crossroads, follow this main trail to get to the swimming hole. What you’re gonna wanna do is follow this all the way to the end to the north here, and you’ll come out to an area. Right now it’s the winter. So you won’t see it so much, but there’s a beach like area on the other side of the river, from the trail and anything from the north of this to the left is gonna be deep enough to swim in.
And also there’s usually several rope swings. I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid. It’s a great place to take the kids in spring to hunt pollywongs, tadpols. So you’re looking for this area at the end, where there’s this tree, and this is a good area, actually for small children to Wade in. But like I said, everything from the north of this is deep enough to swim.
Lobster Corndogs at the Archer Hotel at Sky & Vine
This is the Archer hotel. And hopefully tonight they’ll actually have lobster corn dogs. We’ve came for something secret. A lot of times it’s not on the menu at all the lobster corn dogs also here at the Archer. They have whiskey that’s made here in the Napa Valley. And if I zoom in here, you see actually Stag Leap, Stags Leap
the reason that mountain got its name and that district the legend is that a hunter was chasing a stag, the stag leaped off one of those cliffs to its own peril. The lobster corn dogs here at the Archer. It’s on the rooftop bar. These are the bomb, come and check them out. Totally the bomb.
